Community Development Program

The Steel Valley Council of Governments (SVCOG), comprised of nine member municipalities, i.e., the Act 47 Cities of Clairton and Duquesne, and the Boroughs of Braddock Hills, Dravosburg, Whitaker, Munhall, West Elizabeth, West Homestead and the Act 47 community of Homestead, administers approximately $2,000,000 in public improvement projects utilizing Community Development Block Grants and UDAG funds for these communities each year.
