Borough of Braddock Hills’ – Senior Center Retaining Wall Project

 

Specifications

 

  1. Demolition and Excavation – The structures for demolition include the removal and disposal at an approved facility, including but not limited to:  demolition, site clearance, complete removal of all footings, foundation walls, and concrete slabs in accordance with all enclosed specifications.
  2. Reinforced Concrete Wall and Footing – This item includes all labor and materials required for the furnishing and installation of a cast-in-place reinforced concrete wall and footing, including epoxy-coated bars, stone bedding, backfilling of wall with compacted excavated material, in accordance with the drawings and specifications, complete and in-place.  This shall include all costs associated with the required services of a qualified testing and inspecting agency as identified in the cast-in-place concrete specifications.
  3. Concrete Slab 6” – This item includes all labor and materials required for the furnishing and installation of a 6” thick cast-in-place slab with epoxy coated reinforcement and stone bedding in accordance with the drawings and specifications, complete and in-place.  This shall include all costs associated with the required services of a qualified testing and inspecting agency as identified in the cast-in-place concrete specifications.
  4. Wood Trusses and Roofing – This item includes all labor and materials required for the furnishing and installation of wood roof trusses of the type in accordance with the drawings and specification, installation of 30-year asphalt shingles, 5/8” thick plywood decking to be graded per PS83 specification, butt ends not blocked, aluminum downspout and in gutter and accordance with the drawings and specifications, including all attachments for completion of trusses and roof, complete and in-place.
  5. Lawn and Right-of-Way Resoration – Including addition of topsoil, fine grading, the incorporation of soil supplements, the sowing of the seed and mulching, replacement of shrubs, complete and in-place.
  6. Maintenance of Traffic – In accordance with the approved PennDOT Traffic Plan and PennDOT Publication 213.
